This printer prints 16 pages per minute for black and 4 pages per minute for color. The market price for this printer is $200 which is exactly the same as Samsung CLP-310 which we discussed in our previous blog. There is no difference between the two printers except the exterior color. This printer output bin holds 100 sheets and input tray holds 150 sheets. This printer can also take several different kinds of medium: plain paper, cards, transparencies, stickers, glossy photo paper, envelopes, and matte photo paper. The control panel on this printer is simple, a cancel button and four LED lights that indicate toner levels. This economical printer is ideal for transitioning from inkjet to color laser printer.
Although the transition from color inkjet to laser is exhilarating, the price for running Samsung CLP-315 is high. This printer do need a drum unit and four toners of each color to operate. The genuine drum unit cost about $200 while each genuine toner cost about $60. To continually operating this price smart printer, you would need at least $500 petty cash yearly depending on how much you print. Luckily, InkTonerWeb is one shop to solve your problem.
Samsung CLP-315 uses our Samsung CLT-409's drum and toners. The part number for the drum unit is CLT-R409. Whereas, the part number for the four color toners are: CLT-K409S (black), CLT-C409S (cyan), CLT-M409S (magenta), and CLT-Y409S (yellow). Unlike many generic toner, our toners are not refilled but remanufactured in ISO9001 and 14001 factories and the same standard applied to our drum unit.
