HP LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP is a hug upgrade from HP LaserJet CM1312 MFP. It has the same features of being able to print 12 pages per minute for monochrome and 8 pages per minute for color, and uses Image REt 3600 for text and graphics to give vibrant and deeper color. What make this printer unique from HP LaserJet CM1312 MFP are five add-on features. Firstly, it has networking function which allows one printer to be shared with multiple users. Secondly, it is a fax machine. Thirdly, it has four memory card slots for printing documents and pictures directly from the memory card. Fourthly, it has an intuitive control panel for easy access. Fifthly, it has a 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF) that is sitting atop of the scanning bed which allows printing, scanning, and faxing 50 pages hands-free.
To further elaborate on some of the add-on features, one of the most mentionable attribute is the intuitive control panel of HP LaserJet CM1312nfi MFP. The control panel includes the old-fashioned style keyboard. The four speed dial buttons with one shift bottom which supports total of eight speed dials are for numerous fax numbers storage. It has one button to access the fax menu and another button to proceed the action. Just like a telephone, this printer has a complete eight alphanumeric buttons. When doing navigation on the built-in liquid crystal display, this printer does come with the basic: OK button and navigation arrows, cancel button, set up button, help button, and back button. During copying, the copy menu button can access the copy menu. The copy black button performs black and white copy, while the copy color button performs otherwise. The same with scanning, this printer comes with two full set of buttons one for accessing the scan menu and one doing the action. Last but not the least, when directly printing from memory card, one button allows for selection and another bottom is to proceed with the printing. Just for this easy operation and fully display control panel alone, the value of this printer is indomitable.
